Hello,

Welcome to my site dedicated to music theory. Throughout the years I have spent learning music, I have developed a keen interest in music theory. Having passed my grade 5 theory exam in Autumn 2007, I was determined and encouraged by my tutors to study theory at a higher level. I sat grade 6 theory in autumn 2008 and grade 8 theory in spring 2009, in which I passed with merit. 

I created this website because I know many people who find theory quite difficult to grasp and I would like to help simplify it. Through studying music theory, especially at the higher grades, I have noticed the lack of theory resources on the internet to aid revision for candidates preparing for examination. Hence, I hope to provide some support on various concepts required for the exams, in particular those that students find most challenging.
